The inspiration comes from last year’s "Artemis I" moon mission, and more specifically the moment when the Orion capsule cleared the far side of the moon, and the Earth came into view. Watching live I found it a profoundly affecting moment - everything we know viewed in an instant, as though a single point in space, from far away. I hope that the piece will express some of this…
