About us

Marlborough Concert Orchestra (MCO) plays light music and popular classics. It was formed in 2006 and rehearses weekly during term time at Christchurch, New Road, Marlborough. We will have a new conductor joining us very soon, but we are currently very lucky to be directed by Malcolm Webb, Musical Director of the Swindon Symphony orchestra, who has agreed to help us prepare for our first concert of 2022. MCO has entertaining and productive rehearsals leading to three exciting concerts per year. The orchestra is registered as a charity and run by a committee. We warmly welcome new players and aim to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of orchestral music in all its aspects.
